Being in the Right Place at the Right Time
Takes Experience and Vision
If you ask Sherri and I what makes a good Wedding Photographer, we will first answer with, "It takes a person with empathy and the true love of people." Sure there are so many technical aspects that make for great images, and we lean heavily on all our years of experience to find, expose and create many images properly or within our own style, however, nothing beats having that sense of knowing where to be and when to be there. To get the images and quickly move on to let those moments flourish on their own. And even then both Sherri and Mark will "stick their noses in" from time to time to forward happy and emotional moments. We realize that a Wedding Day is not like any ordinary day for our couples and their families, we also understand that many people can either be uncomfortable in front of a camera or just plain simply change their own demeanor in front of a camera. So it is that passion for people that will at those moments come to the front of who Amelse Photography is. We can not relay how great an accomplishment it is for us to hear complete strangers come up to us on a wedding day and compliment us on how we have "performed" for the couple all day long. What a Feeling.
So here you will have this HUGE Gallery (Dare you to make it through them all. Really you do not have to, not all in one sitting.) of moments frozen in time so that years from now they will move once more when a person views these images. Let them move for you now.
