Romance Novels are written about couples like Dana and Tucker. This whole-heartedly includes their Wedding Day taking place right down the street from where they met, The Hideaway at The LaSalle in the Heart of South Bend, Indiana. Their venue just happened to be the Ice-Skating Park along the “Bend” in the St Joseph River that gives South Bend its name.
From the beginning of our consultations, I could understand that Dana and Tucker simply wanted to “Feel” their Wedding Day as the Celebration this day really represented to them. Their young baby boy would be a big part of their ceremony as you will see. Their instructions were wonderful, please capture the emotions, the people and if we have moments for a few simple posed images that would be great.
Along came the day and Mother Nature certainly brought the Winter Wonderland with temperatures no higher than 17 degrees. So, the images we took outdoors, were pure bravery, especially for Dana in a Wedding Gown. However, slipping away to get those images were so worth it.
Come in and “feel” their Wedding Day.
Sherri and I have minutes to help so many become comfortable in front of our cameras, all the while finding stealthy ways to not be a distraction. We love these challenges, we love the emotion.
We get chills from that first contact with our clients. Most just simply ask for a price list and I certainly nudge to have them contact me personally (Yes we know not everyone is comfortable on a phone call or zoom.) as we realize most have little clue where to begin when finding a photographer since there are so many out there in today's world. This is such a personal connection. The stories we have from all of our experiences are many, and we have been so thankful for all these couples, their families, and their friends over these years. We end up being far more than just photographers too so many.
