Winter Maternity Portraits
Winter Maternity Portraits in a Red Dress for our daughter Ari proved to be a fun challenge.
This one is special for Sherri and I as this is our daughter.
I do get requests for Winter Portraits very often, and with that, I give the best advice I can, and that begins with "chasing" weather. In this case with locally having very little snow this year Sherri and I headed up to Matt and Ari's home in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where we happened upon a wonderful Tree Farm not far from their home. (Postema Christmas Tree Farm in Alto, Michigan)
The night before we searched for ideas for a Red Maternity Dress in Snow. While looking at samples, I felt we should also try and get a Flower Crown. Having limited time I set out the next morning and found help from a wonderful young woman (Olivia) working the front desk at Ball Park Floral and Gifts. She had explained that making a flower crown so quickly was impossible for the seasoned designers on such short notice but would help as best she could. And boy did she come through.
Winter Maternity photos in a Red Maternity dress and a flower crown, it was the perfect combination.
I end this Gallery with a special edit representing the name Matt and Ari have picked for their little princess. Matt's love of Science and Astronomy come through. After all he is a Middle School Science Teacher. What a great way to share knowledge. (Yes, a little over the top. But we love it just the same.)
