As you can see I am not the best of bloggers. However I'm sure you can see that we love pictures. Both Sherri (my wife and best friend) and I, live by a very simple principle when it comes to our craft, and that is to get better each and every day. We have found the best formula for success is our love of people. When I personally reply to potential clients initial contact, I like to always tell everybody I certainly talk a lot. (I like to listen as well. I love stories.) Here in our region the one thing we have always noticed is that folks around here like to have the parties, they love fun. Northwest Indiana weddings are full of fun from beginning to end.
We have been to many great venues in our region. Let's see 2013 we were at, Aberdeen Manor, The Allure, Avalon Manor, Banquets at St. George, Meyer's Castle, Halls of St. George, Dynasty Banquets, SandCreek Country Club, County Line Orchard, Deep River County Park, Duneland Falls, Sandy Pines Country Club, Old Lake County Courthouse, Cloister in the Woods, The Croatian Center, Radisson Hotel - Merrillville, Halls of Justice, The Patrician Banquet Center, Great Oaks, Centennial Park, plus a couple of Illinois locations, Odyssey Country Club - Tinley Park, and Marriott Lincolnshire. Add to this the many times we had after Wedding Sessions at the Beach. (On the Southern Shores of Lake Michigan.)
When you look through these images you will see we believe in a refined process. We know these images are here for a lifetime and many times beyond. It is so cool to walk into a past couple's home and see images that we created on their walls. I could not imagine doing anything else. You are going to see digital enhancements, that's okay that's Sherri and I. Yes you're going to see a Dinosaur and even one Big Penguin, that's all in great fun, and it's a great memory. Pictures can be fun to. In this gallery I consider these are our Art Collection. We capture many more moments and many many more formal portraits during a wedding day. Those images are no less Art to our clients. Northwest Indiana Weddings are never boring and our people are something special. We like to consider our region blue-collar hard-working people. Maybe that's why we all party so well. My wife and I have learned to stick around and take many images during the receptions, sort of freaks out vendors that come from other regions as they are not used to a photographer sticking around all night, but we wouldn't miss it for the world.
